RQUG Dallas, TX

A select group representing MoKan Title Services attended the RamQuest Users' Group annual conference February 16-18 in Dallas TX. This is an information heavy event that promotes using Ramquest and all its features to the fullest. In attendance was: Melissa Robinson from the title processing department, Melanie Lutes representing escrow and Jen Grundy and Bryan Kress from IT.

This conference is totally geared towards the individuals that use the Ramquest product suite on an everyday basis. Sessions are provided throughout the two and a half day seminar ranging from marketing to recording of deeds and everything in between.

This year's keynote address was delivered by Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library. Gary, a 33 year old Jersey kid, turned his father's liquor store into a 24 million dollar on-line wine business while simultaneously establishing himself as a nationally respected wine connoisseur. Most impressively, he did all this by promoting everything himself through social networking websites. That was the premise of his speech; Personal Brand Building through Social Networks.

Since our return we have held a knowledge transfer meeting to discuss what we learned and how to best disseminate that information to the rest of the team.

Although the weather was a balmy 60 degrees most of the trip, it was nice to get away and really feel as though we were contributing to improving the way MoKan does business. We appreciate the commitment on the partner's behalf and intend on showing them proof positive on their investment.
